What these sites load before you accept cookies
Each record below is what one browser received from one site on one date, with no interaction at all — nothing clicked, nothing accepted, nothing rejected. These are observations, not compliance assessments. A great deal of what they show is perfectly lawful; under an opt-out regime, data is meant to flow until someone opts out. What the records give you is the thing that is otherwise invisible: what actually happened, rather than what a settings panel says should have happened.

Method
- Browser:
- Chromium 141 via Playwright, fresh browser context per site, no extensions, no prior cookies
- Window:
- page load plus 8 seconds, with no interaction of any kind
- Vantage:
- ES (Spain) egress; en-US locale; America/Los_Angeles timezone
- Consent-platform check:
- Two independent checks: third-party CMP vendor scripts requested during load, and self-hosted consent-plugin markers in the served HTML of the homepage and privacy pages.
What these records cannot tell you
- Runs from a non-US egress, so a consent banner geo-scoped to the United States may not render for this visitor. A site marked as showing no banner may show one to a US visitor.
- A single visit on a single date. Sites change.
- Absence of a consent platform is reported only where both checks completed. Where a page could not be fetched the record says inconclusive rather than none.
